By accessing or using Kosmiq at kosmiq.app, Android, and/or iso application (the "Service"), operated by Kosmiq, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 13 years old to use Kosmiq. If you are under the age of majority
where you live, you may use it only with a parent or guardian's permission.

3. THE TWO SPACES

Kosmiq offers two spaces:
- EXPLORER — a general astronomy-learning experience, open to any account.
- ASTRONOMER — study tools for students, unlocked by verifying a university (.edu or
recognized academic) email. Some Astronomer features are paid.
- we don't sell and/or use any of your emails for third party marketing purposes.

4. YOUR ACCOUNT

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. Do not share
your account or impersonate others.

5. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these
Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service, or bypass rate
limits, gates, or security controls.
- Use any automated system to access the Service in a manner that sends more requests
than a human could reasonably produce.
- Scrape, resell, or redistribute the app or its generated content.
- Upload unlawful content.
- Use Kosmiq to cheat in a way that violates your institution's academic integrity rules.
- Use Kosmiq or any part of Kosmiq to harm others/other users on the said app.
Kosmiq is a study and practice tool; it is your responsibility to use it in line with your school's policies.

6. CONTENT YOU UPLOAD

You retain ownership of the materials you upload. You grant Kosmiq a limited license
to process them solely to create your own practice. You represent that you have the
right to upload each item, and that doing so does not violate anyone's copyright or
your institution's rules — for example, some schools prohibit sharing exams. Do not
upload materials you are not permitted to use. We process your materials for you only
and do not share them with other users. While we do not use the uploaded material elsewhere or share and/or sell it to any third-party company that does not help us provide content for you, you are responsible for the content you upload. We suggest not sharing a copyrighted material.

7. AI-GENERATED CONTENT

Lessons, practice questions, explanations, and chat responses are generated by AI and
are provided "as is." They may be incomplete or inaccurate and are not a substitute

8. NO UNIVERSITY AFFILIATION

Kosmiq is an independent product. References to universities, courses, course codes,
or professors are used only to personalize your practice and do not imply any
affiliation with, endorsement by, or connection to any institution, faculty member, or
examination body, nor that generated content reflects any actual exam.

9. NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS

Kosmiq does not guarantee any grade, score, exam result, or academic outcome. However, correct use of it will take you closer to and help achieve your desired result. More on this is on our disclaimer page.

10. PAYMENTS AND BILLING

Paid Astronomer features, such as the Semester Pass , are billed through
PayPal. Pricing and what is included are shown at the time of purchase. All purchases are subscription based unless stated otherwise. You may choose to cancel the subscription anytime through the said app. All payments are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy (part of our Privacy Policy) or as required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time, with reasonable notice.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain
the exclusive property of Kosmiq. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the app; you may not copy, resell, or
create competing services from it.

12. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior
notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. You may stop

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the amount you paid us in
